Obituary of Warren G. Ridgway, Jr. Warren G. Ridgway, Jr, age 63, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Mr. Ridgway was born in Glen Ridge, NJ the son of Patricia (Shaw) and the late Warren G. Ridgway. He lived in Wayne for 22 years and was formerly of Bloomfield. He was a truck driver employed by Shaw Industries in Cranbury, NJ for 27 years. Warren was a railroad fanatic who knew everything about trains. For over 30 years during the holidays, he was a volunteer conductor of the Polar Express Train for the Black River and Western Railroad in Flemington. He was a former member and past Exalted Ruler of the Greater Es Elks Lodge #21 in Bloomfield. Warren is survived by his beloved mother Patricia (Shaw) Ridgway; two loving sisters, Linda and her husband Tom, and Karen and her husband Mike, and a brother, Greg; also his dear nieces Danielle and Samantha, and nephew Nicholas. Visiting hours will be Sunday December 4, 2022 from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Please meet at the church for the funeral Mass on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of The Valley RC Church, 630 Valley Rd, Wayne. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Donations in Warren’s name may be made to your favorite charity.
