View Tribute Book Mrs. Wanda Keller passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, September 24, 2022, at her residence in the Town of Port Washington. She was 66 years old. One of 13 children born to Elmer and Marie Cline Templeman, Wanda was born in Port Washington on August 11, 1956. She grew up in Grafton and attended local schools. On December 15, 1973, Wanda was united in marriage with Michael Lentz in Port Washington. They were blessed with two children. In June of 1977 they were divorced. On May 24, 1985, Wanda married Allan Keller in Port Washington, they had one daughter together. The couple raised their family at their home in the Town of Port Washington. A natural-born caregiver, Wanda worked as a CNA for Horizon Healthcare before going to Outreach. She finished her career working many years as a private duty care giver where she was able to use her gifts to provide comfort and peace to her patients. Mrs. Keller was a lifetime member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington. She loved spending time volunteering and helping at church by giving rides to members in need, doing coffee hour or anything else that was needed. Anyone who knew Wanda knows she was a compassionate and giving spirit. She gave so much of herself to family, friends and even people she didn’t know. Family was very important to Wanda, she enjoyed trips up north with her sisters and brothers visiting family. Wanda also enjoyed spending time with her husband of 38 years, they had a daily routine they kept that she cherished. Another treasured past time was spending time with her beloved grandchildren whom where the light of her life. She is survived by her husband Allan, her children Michael Lentz II of the Town of Port Washington, Gregg (Erica) Lentz of Fredonia, Renee (Christine) Keller of Franklin, her step-children Bruce (Sue LaPorta) Keller of Glenview, IL, Kenneth (Ann) Keller of Port Washington and Steve Keller of Plymouth, grandchildren Avalina, Jack and Lila Lentz, step-grandchildren Kevin, Jamie, Kaylee, Travis, Ethan and Brandon, as well as five step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three brothers: Wilbert (Sue) Templeman of Shawano, Larry (friend Jo Ellen) Templeman of Gibbsville, Herbert (friend Linda) Templeman of Port Washington, sisters Bonnie (George) Pachner of Fredonia and Christine (Phil) Buchmann of Gibbsville, brother-in-law Dennis Lastovich of Shawano, numerous nieces and nephews, other family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Duane and Craig, sisters Eleanora (the late Warren) Roos, Arlene (the late Frank) Prochaska, Pat (the late John) Larson, Linda Pannier and Sharon Lastovich, and brother-in-law, Jim VanEss. The family will receive visitors from 11AM -1PM on Friday, September 30th, at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, 505 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, followed by funeral services at 1PM. Pastor Vince Pepin will preside. Wanda will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington, following the service. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to Grand Ave. United Methodist Church in her name.
