View Tribute Book Virginia Terry Brooks, 84, of Chatham, VA went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born April 5, 1938, in Halifax, VA to the late Samuel Stover Terry and the late Doris Garrett Terry. Virginia was a faithful member of Blairs Baptist Church. She was very proud of her Sunday School attendance record of 38 years. She is survived by her brothers, Nathaniel Terry and William Terry, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alvin R. Brooks and sister, Joyce Martin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA 24541 with Pastor John Lester officiating. Interment will be at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel.
