Graveside services for Tommy Lackey, 79, of Poolville, Texas, will be at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Chico Cemetery in Chico, Texas. Tommy passed away December 24, 2022, in Decatur, Texas. He was born March 18, 1943, in Austin, Texas to Jack and Hazel (Ward) Lackey. Tommy was married to the love of his life, Kay Lackey, for 53 years. He worked for numerous years in the oil and gas industry, working on oil derricks much of the time. Tommy loved fishing, hunting, and was best described as a jack of all trades. Survivors include his wife Kay Lackey of Poolville, Texas; son Neal Lackey and wife, Dina of Poolville, Texas; daughter Donna Walton and husband, James of Poolville, Texas; grandchildren Terry Hunter, Timothy and Andrew Davis, Barbara Small, Sissy Rainey, Keaton and Kevin Walton, and Vanessa Smith.
