Obituary Tommy James Miller, age 76 of Sevierville, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022. He was employed with Cherokee Textile Mill/Dan River for 29 years. He served on the Middle Creek Cemetery Board of Directors for 24 years doing maintenance, and later managing the cemetery. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother Reba W. Romines, father James R. Miller, and siblings Ronald, Chris, Linda and Sandy; special grandfather Lloyd “Dock” Whaley, daughter-in-law Gina Miller and brother-in-law George McCarter. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Miller, son Jamie Miller, daughter Sandy (David) Henry; grandchildren Katie Proffitt (Jake), Rachel Ramsey (Bryson) and Ryan Henry, as well as great-grandchildren Ridge Ray and Everett Aaron Proffitt, Wrenley Cayte Ramsey and Charlotte Ann Barzanti. In addition, he is survived by sisters Amy Miller Bales, Debora Miller and Diane Phillips, brothers Steve and Eddie Miller, aunt Dorothy Lee Trentham, brothers-in-law John McCarter and Jim Myers, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Middle Creek Cemetery, 1830 Middle Creek Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 of First Baptist Church, Sevierville, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Middle Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Rev. Dan Spencer and Ray Ball will officiate. Pallbearers will be members of the Middle Creek Cemetery Board of Directors. Read more
