Obituary Rogersville: Thomas “Tom” Bailey, age 90, of Rogersville, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Church Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation after a brief illness. An active member of Rogersville First Baptist Church, Tom had a passion for the study and memorization of Biblical scripture and for numerous years taught the Men’s Bible Study Class. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean war. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lawson Bailey, parents James and Lucy Bailey, brothers Clyde Bailey, Fred Bailey, Grady Bailey, and Oscar Bailey. Survivors include his nephew, Kent Bailey and wife Brenda of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in the funeral home chapel.. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Trey Meek officiating.
