Thomas’ Obituary Thomas R. Baran, 74, of Frankfort, passed away January 14, 2022. Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. Volunteer in the Jaycees. He was a diehard Bears and Cubs fan. Cherished husband of the late Cheryl, nee Busca, Baran; loving father of Catherine (Robert) Chlipala and Steven Baran; proud grandfather of Adriana, Dylan, and Emily; dearest brother to many; and fond uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; also survived by his beloved rescue dog, Bandit. Visitation Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 3 – 8 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services Friday, January 21, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
