Thomas E. Moses 79, passed away on December 29, 2021, at the Glens Falls Center, Glens Falls NY. He was a lifelong resident of Eagle Bridge. Thomas was born on October 6, 1942, in Cambridge, NY, son of the late Gerald and Lillian (Ferguson) Moses. He was educated at schools in Cambridge and served in the Army National Guard from 1964-1970. Tom was employed for many years as a machinist at Eagle Bridge Machine & Tool. He then continued his profession as a general contractor restoring old barns and building stone walls throughout the northeast. As the great grandson of Grandma Moses, he too was an avid painter with several of his pieces being displayed in art shows throughout the years. He enjoyed meals at local diners, deer hunting, fishing, antique car shows, and was a member of the Bennington Moose Club. Survivors include his daughter Sally (Moses) Farrell of Spring, TX, son Jeffrey Moses of Schaghticoke, NY, brothers Will Moses of Eagle Bridge and David Moses of Spokane, WA. He was predeceased by a son Tommy Moses and a brother Paul Moses. Committal services will be held on Friday January 7th, at 10:00 am in the Center White Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.
