Suzette Goodman Pawson, 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 18, 1956 in Highwood, IL to the late Bobby Leon Goodman and Jean Eleanor Goodman who survives. Suzette was employed with Wake Med. She was a member of Mebane Street of Church of Christ; Suzette enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping, watching her recorded soap operas and loved traveling to the beach with her family and friends. Survivors other than her mother, Jean Eleanor Goodman include her daughter, Lauren Fonville; a son, Casey Fonville; her sisters, Sandy Goodman, Sherry Torgent and husband Doug and Joy Hesman and husband Charles; niece and nephews, Cameron and Cassie Torgent and Gavin Hesman. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Leon Goodman. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Terry Rikard with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45am Wednesday prior to the service.
