Steve’s Obituary MILLER, STEPHEN (STEVE, CROWBAR), age 61, of Madisonville, passed away 9:32 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born March 17, 1961. He was a graduate of Madisonville High School Class of 1979. He was employed by the Monroe County Board of Education. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Steve loved the mountains, the outdoors and time on the lake with his family and friends. He was a member of Vonore Masonic Lodge # 658. He was a big Alabama Football fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Austin Miller; grandparents, John and Polly Miller, Hobert and Jessie Webb; several aunts and uncles. Survivors: beloved wife, who has not left his side, Sonya; loving and caring daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Brent Hickey; loving grandchildren, Emori Grace, Mary Catherine and Madison Caroline Hickey; loving mother, Mary Miller; granddog, Lucy; loving mother-in-law, Ada P. Martin; loving step-daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Josh Dunn; step-granddoggy, Tori; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bryan and Dwayna Martin; a special friend who’s always been by his side through all of their lives, who he loved like a brother, Mark (Tater) Hatcher; several nieces and nephews. The Masonic Service will be held 6:45 p.m. Saturday followed by the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in Biereley-Hale Chapel. Rev. Carroll Hamilton, Rev. Tommy Self will officiate. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Carroll, Rev. Andy Franklin will officiate. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund. The family will receive friends 5-6:45 p.m. Saturday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
