Stephanie Neal, age 37, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on December 27th. She was surrounded by her loving family, pastor and friends at Atrium Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. She had been hospitalized for the past 16 days. Stephanie was born March 4, 1985 in Danville. She was the proud daughter of Michael and Debra Neal. She is also survived by her loving sister, Tara Payne (Toby), numerous nieces and nephews and her loving dog, Dixie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter C. Henderson, IV and cousin, James Lee Hollie, her loving grandparents, Jack and Delaine Bullock and Calvin and Jean Neal. She was such a spiritual inspiration and prayer warrior to many and was a member of Ringgold Baptist Church. She loved Myrtle Beach and watching the Golden Girls. Stephanie attended Lynchburg College, D.C.C and Liberty University and earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree in 2010. She worked in the Pittsylvania County School System as a school nurse. She was also a member of the Ringgold Volunteer Fire & Rescue where she was an EMT. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2 P.M. at The Tabernacle 1978 South Boston Highway, Danville by the Reverend Duane Caldwell and the Reverend Carl Burger. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will be at the residence,1540 Ringgold Road. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Ringgold Fire & Rescue P.O. Box 10 Ringgold, VA or Ringgold Baptist Church P.O. Box 100 Ringgold, VA. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is serving the Neal family.
