Shirley’s Obituary Shirley A. Jenkins 85 of Amity died Tuesday June 28, 2022 in Evergreen Personal Care, Washington. She was born May 19, 1937 in Greene County, daughter of the late Bernard R. and Clementine Pester Edgar. She attended Trinity High School. She was a member of Ten Mile Presbyterian Church and Marianna American Legion Post 744 Ladies Auxiliary. on November 25, 1953 she married Donald L. Jenkins Sr. who died July 23, 2002. They shared almost 50 years of marriage. She is survived by six children Donald L Jenkins Jr. (Kum Sun), Clarence “Bob” Jenkins (Glenda), Donna S. Richmond (Charles), Michael D. Jenkins (Debbie), Danny P. Jenkins, MaryAnn Williams (Terry), 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a sister Mary Bercosky and 4 brothers Bill, Kenny, Earl, and George Edgar. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
