Obituary of Scott M. Paxton Scott M. Paxton, 41 of Jamestown passed away Tuesday (December 28, 2021) in UPMC Chautauqua Hospital after a brief courageous battle with cancer. Scott was born January 8, 1980 in Jamestown, the son of Cindy Paxton Repine and the late Jim Paxton. He graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School and was employed with Kingsview Paving & Excavating (HH Raugh Paving) in Falconer. Scott enjoyed his family and going to the movies with them. He also enjoyed skiing with Chase, Nolan and friends, kayaking, wood carving, fixing cars, dirt bike riding and going to Audubon. Scott loved to have fires at his home and have friends over and play the congas. He is survived by his wife Pamela M. (Slater) Paxton of Jamestown whom he married July 23, 2016; two sons: Nolan (Emma) Paxton of Jamestown, NY, Chase Paxton (Chaser Racer, Bubba) of Jamestown, NY; his mother Cindy Paxton Repine; his brother Tracy (Robyn) Paxton of Jamestown; several nieces and nephews: Noah, Julia, Jessalyn, Zayden, Tierialynn, Caden, Carter, Neveah, Khamara, Aliannah Kyrie, Zahnyia, James, Joseph, Joshua. He is preceded in death by his father James A. Paxton, his brother Adam C. Paxton, Paternal Grandparents: William and Lorraine Paxton: Maternal Grandparents: Bill and Florence Hebner. The funeral will be 5 p.m. Tuesday (January 4, 2022) in the Falconer Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
