Sam was a proud father and grandfather, a talented wood craftsman, love to fish, and a huge Chicago Bears fan. Loving son of the late Panagiotis and the late Maria Pavlidis. Beloved father of Maria (Clay) Scarry. Cherished grandfather of Lillian and Ceinwein. Loving brother of Evangelia (Eleftherios) Tiniakos, the late Sophia (late Mark) Peters, Stavroula (George) Spanos. Fond uncle of the late Steve Martinovich, Lydia (late Phillp) Savas, Peter Martinovich, the late Dimitri Simandirakis, Maria (Dionysis) Tsirigotis, Dr. Constantine (Gina) Peters, Peter (Kelly) Simandirakis. Visitation for Savas Pavlidis will be held on Wednesday, September 28th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11024 S. Roberts Rd., Palos Hills, IL 60465.
