Obituary of Sally L Bouchaud Sally L. Bouchaud (Lesser), of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was 91. Legacy Sally was a gifted and accomplished artist. She started her art career in the early 1960’s and studied at the Michael J. Miceli art studio and truly found her passion in life. Over her career, her beautiful, striking paintings have graced many walls, in many different places. She was always artistic and was prolific in all art mediums, but oil painting was her passion. She opened up her own studio and taught many art students over the years. Many of her students became her very close, life-long friends. Sally born and raisedin Johnstown, N.Y. and was a long time member of the Gloucester County Art League and the Sketch Club Players, a Woodbury Community Theater, where she acted in several plays. She was a parishioner of the St John Lutheran Church in Westville for over 50 years, and more recently a member of the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Woodbury. Through a High School French Class pen pal, Sally met the love of her life, who lived in France. She and her late husband started corresponding for years and Sally finally went to France to meet him. In ways, the rest is a beautiful history. Sally and Claude married in Paris in 1953 and moved to the US where they resided and started a family. While in France, she loved the art, culture and music and this experience truly changed her life. Family She is the beloved Wife of 62 years to the late Claude F. Bouchaud; devoted and loving mother of Daniel Bouchaud, Diane McCormick (Late Harry)and Raymond Bouchaud (Late Debra); devoted grandmother of Raymond Jr., Desiree, Evan, Shayne, Andrew & Andrea and great-grandmother of Lillyana, Vincent, Isabella and Jayden. Farewell Tribute Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10 am to 11:15 am at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 230 N. Evergreen Avenue, Woodbury, NJ 08080. Funeral Service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
