Ruth T. Vaught, age 89, of Hueytown, Alabama passed away December 5, 2022. She was a member of Hueytown Baptist Church. Ruth retired with 40+ years from Weldon Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Ernest “Nookie” Vaught; parents Wallace and Altie Tingle; sisters Nellie Orange and Martha Cole; brother Buddy Tingle. She is survived by her daughter Jennie Gibbs (Gordon); grandson Tyler Gibbs (Anna); great grandsons Lawson and Parker Gibbs; and a host nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to the Elderly Care organization of your choice.
