Obituary Ruth E. Lehr, 85, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center, with her family by her side. Born October 20, 1936, East Berlin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vernon V. and Bertha E. (Lau) Brandt. Ruth was a 1954 graduate of East Berlin High School. She retired from the Hanover Shoe Company in 2002 with twenty-three years of service. Ruth took great pride in raising her two loving children on her own. Ruth is survived by her two children, Linda Lehr Boyer of Lancaster, PA, and Barry E. Lehr of New Oxford, PA; and a brother Frederick V. Brandt of Hanover, PA. A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the East Berlin Cemetery, East Berlin, PA.
