View Tribute Book Ruth Diana Lassen, age 68, lifetime Lapeer County resident, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She was born January 25, 1954 in Almont, to Alfred and Evelyn (Busch) Pridemore. Ruth graduated from Dryden High School in 1971. After her children were older, she worked many many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Romeo Nursing Center. Ruth was a superfan of WWE wrestling, just as her mother was. Above all, Mrs. Lassen loved time spent with her family…she especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her children: Rodney (Christie) Lassen of Chesterfield, Joseph (Michelle) Lassen of Mio and Brandy (Terry Benjamin) Lassen of Flint; grandchildren: Darren, Carter, Jeff, Jacob, Janessa, Jesse and Terran; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Terrencia; parents: Alfred and Evelyn Pridemore; and siblings: Richard, Roger, Alfred, Shirley, Sandy and Gale. Visitation will be 10-11AM Friday, November 18, 2022, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Ruth’s funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11AM, at the funeral home.
