RUDY’S OBITUARY Rudolf C. “Rudy” Thomson, age 80, a resident of Wheaton, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born September 15, 1942 in India to Moses & Mary Thomson. Rudolf was a simple man who was devoted to his family and had a proud career in the quality control field for over 30 years. His early years were spent in Mumbai, India, and then he immigrated to the Chicagoland area, which he made home for almost fifty years. He was a Christian who always enjoyed talking about his Savior, Jesus Christ and sharing about his faith with loved ones and acquaintances alike. Some of his favorite hymns included Blessed Assurance and How Great Thou Art and he loved sharing his favorite Bible verses that spoke about the Lord and His provision and protection. He is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Gloria; his children Wilma Thomson & Aaron (Clarissa) Thomson; his brother, & two sisters, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and his parents. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be directed to Lombard SDA Fellowship Church, 535 E.
