Rosemary Sprinkle, age 90, a New Castle resident, passed away Saturday morning, August 27, 2022, at Stonebrook Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 11, 1931, in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Leslie & Hettie (Scott) Thompson. Rosemary retired in 1993 after 40 plus years of service from AT&T serving as a telephone operator. She was an avid IU Basketball and Indianapolis Colts fan. Rosemary enjoyed traveling in her younger years to visit family. She is survived by her brother Danny (Yolanda) Thompson and several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Graveside services will be held, 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022, at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle with Pastor Wes Comer officiating. A visitation will take place on Friday from 11:30 – 12:30 at Rose City Funeral Home. Rose City Funeral Home directors and staff are honored to serve the Sprinkle family.
