She was educated in Mexico and moved to Loving, NM at the age of 14 after the death of her sister-in-law, to help with her niece and nephew. Rosalia married Raul C. Navarrette on February 28, 1973. She was a homemaker who raised four children, helped to raise and spoil her grandchildren, and was the heart of the family. She had fond memories of camping and hunting and spending time with her family. The best times were, getting together around Christmas to make asado for the family. In November of 2019 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and on October 14, 2020, she was able to ring the survivor’s bell. July 5, 2022, she started her next cancer journey and fought a good fight but was ready to be with her son Randy. We have fond memories of Rosalia, and she will be greatly missed.
