Rosa’s Obituary Rosa Villalta de Ortiz, age 86, passed from this life into the eternal life, May 5th, 2022 at her home in Allentown, Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rosa was born in Lima, Peru on April 26th, 1936 to Felicita Mini De La Torre and Adam Villalta Castagneto. Rosa was a devout Catholic who lived a full life within the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. She would begin and end her days choosing to spend time with the Lord through avid prayer and worship. Her soul embodied strength, generosity, resiliency, and joy. She was an inspirational mother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and grandmother. She made caring for her family her sole purpose in life from beginning to end. Rosa studied and finished high school in Lima-Peru. She was a beautiful dancer and a lover of Peruvian traditional music, Musica Criolla. Rosa endured great losses in her life having survived the passings of her five brothers, and son, Luis Alberto Ortiz Villalta. Through it all, she was a pillar of strength and support for her 8 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brother, Jorge Villalta, who will continue to honor her legacy in life. Rosa will be missed by her survivors, her daughter and companion for most of her life Roxana M Ortiz and her children Rosa M Ortiz, Miguel A Ortiz, Julio C Ortiz, Bertha R Ortiz, Victor H Ortiz and Luis A Ortiz. Mamita, you will forever be the most beautiful rose in all of the gardens. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown.
