Obituary Ishpeming, MI- Ronald Victor “Ron” Patton Jr., age 75, of 616 E Street Ishpeming, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at his home. Ronald was born in South Charleston, WV on January 28, 1947, a son of the late Ronald V. and Juanita E. (Lewis) Patton, Sr. Ron graduated fromFenton High School, in Bensenville, IL, Class of 1964. Ron moved to the Upper Peninsula in the 1970’s and worked as a salesman selling insurance and later in automobile sales. He enjoyed playing cribbage, hunting, and fishing. He was involved with Boy Scouts of America. Ron is survived by his significant other Robyn Lavey of Ishpeming, 5 children; Samuel Patton of Ishpeming, Cynthia (Jeremy Cole) Patton of Ishpeming, Dawn Knipp of Portland, IN, Jennifer Patton-Perez of Florida and Sylvia Coddington of Florida, 6 Grandchildren; Tori Knipp, Lisa Stanton, Alex Knipp, Karissa Patton, Harleigh Cole, and Nicholas Perez, 3 great grandchildren; Emiliano, Elijah Perez, and Leon A. Matthews, a sister Lavonia Lyon-Smith of Crystal Lake, IL, numerous nieces and nephews, and close friend Bill (Patty) Beitel. Honoring Ron’s wishes cremation will take place, a private service will be held at a later date.
