Ronald Ames Coulonge, Sr. passed away on October 6, 2022 in Covington, LA. He was born on September 3, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to the late Alexander William Coulonge, Jr. and Doris Russ Coulonge. Ron was the beloved husband of Rhonda Lassus Coulonge for 14 years. He was the loving father of Andree Core (Willie) and Ronald Ames Coulonge, Jr.; step-father of Penelope Phillips and Joshua Phillips (Michele). Ron was the proud grandfather of Catie and Brianna Louque. He was the brother of the late Alexander W. Coulonge, III and Allen John Coulonge. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, and his first wife, Lisa Sciambra Coulonge. Ronald was an avid tennis player and could always be tempted by a good cup of coffee. He loved to be outdoors especially sitting on the beach. He was loved by many whom he considered close friends. Ronald’s greatest love was his family and he will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron Coulonge may be made to Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15220 Hwy 1078, Folsom, LA 70437. Please Share a Memory on the Tribute Wall at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
