View Tribute Book Mr. Roger Dale Ozment, age 78 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Diversicare of Martin. Graveside services for Mr. Ozment will be conducted on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 12:00pm in Oakwood Cemetery with Nathe Ozment officiating. Interment will immediately follow. He was born May 11, 1944, in Dyer County, TN; the son of the late Moody & Mattie (Scarbrough) Ozment. Roger retired as a supervisor with the TN Department of Transportation with 32 years and was a member of Dyer Church of Christ. Mr. Ozment is survived by daughter, Sissy Dawson Stephens; siblings, Bertha King, Bill Ozment; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Horner Ozment (2008); stepson, Alan Dawson; four brothers; and his parents. Pallbearers are Kyle McConnell, Alan Taylor, Tristan Terry, Lanny Oliver, Tim Stephens, and Bob Parker. Honorary pallbearer is Cooper McConnell. The family will receive friends from 10:00am -11:45am on Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
