RODOLFO ZAPATA URIBE June 7, 1945 – November 15, 2022 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo Rodolfo Zapata Uribe, born June 7, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Antonio Uribe and Victoria Zapata Uribe, went to be with our Lord November 15, 2022 at the age of 77. Rodolfo was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Uribe; mother, Victoria Zapata; brothers, Jose Uribe, Antonio Uribe, Jimmy Uribe; and sister, Nora Uribe-Perez. He is survived by his wife, Ester Uribe; sons, Rodolfo Uribe (Juanita), Ruben Uribe (Rita Ann), Roger Uribe (Samantha); daughters, Sylvia Uribe (Joseph Tiseth), Deborah U. Davenport (Timothy); brother, Robert Uribe; sister, Margie Uribe-Hernandez; grandchildren, Rudy James, John Anthony, Stephanie, Domingo (DJ), Destiny, Desire, John Michael (Heidi), John Anthony, Esai, Mya, Ayden, Abigail Renee; and great-grandchildren, Mason P, Emmie Lynn, Zaden. Rodolfo was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and our beloved San Antonio Spurs. Among the things that Rodolfo enjoyed were: playing with is grand and great-grandchildren, Tejano music, dancing, riding his bike, BB-Queing, fishing, gambling and pots, visiting Lockhart, Texas (Smitty’s BBQ) and a cold Miller Lite. He also enjoyed working and taking care of his yard. Rodolfo was married to his surviving wife of 57 years, Ester Herrera Uribe. He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard, and served his country during the 1963 era. Rodolfo will be dearly missed by all his loving family and friends. The family invites you to come celebrate a wonderful life lived. Funeral services are as follows: Monday – December 5, 2022: Visitation will be 3-8pm at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7701 Somerset Road, San Antonio, Texas 78211, with a rosary being recited at 6:30pm. Tuesday – December 6, 2022: Visitation 8-9am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237, departing at 9:30am to St. Clare Catholic Church, 7701 Somerset Road, San Antonio, Texas 78211 for a 10am Mass.
