Bob Menna passed away on December 18, 2022, with his family by his side. He is now at home with those who we’ve lost before. He is with his parents, and friends, and most of all; he is reunited with his best doggie buddy Kailey. He is home with God. He is at peace. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marty, and his beloved children, Rachel (Amy) and Brad, his wife Sara, and his two wonderful grandsons, Oliver and Wyatt. Bob loved his wife with all his heart. He would call her his “best friend” and still adored her after all this time. They were together in sickness and in health. His love for his children and grandchildren could be seen as his eyes light up at the mere mention of them. He was a great husband, a tremendous father, and such a jovial grandfather. Bob lived in a way that touched so many lives. On his last day, he was true to form and brought so much joy and laughter to those who were helping him. He was laughing. He was cracking jokes. You could just see his light transcending his heart into smiles and laughter. Bob made things better. He saw the bright side of all situations and was a living reminder that life can actually be a laughing matter. Bob has touched so many lives. Each interaction he has turns into a memory. He is hard to miss and impossible to forget. Bob treated strangers like friends and friends like they were golden. He listened. He heard people. He cared. Bob lived a life that added so much to humanity. He always left things better than they were. The world was a kind place when Bob was around. We know his kindness will live on. Bob also loved animals. He shared their indescribable love. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to the ASPCA or local shelter. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home and Crematory Family Owned and Operated Since 1978.
