Obituary Robert W. Markowski, 68, of Lancaster, OH, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his residence after an extensive battle with cancer. Bob “Bobby” was born in Bridgeport, OH on May 29, 1953 to Walter and Helen Markowski. He is a retired Captain from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, after serving for 30 years. He was also an adjunct Professor for Ohio University. Bob loved hunting, fishing, building muzzle-loaders, and woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda; his children Timothy (Shelby) and Ashley (Max); and one very special granddaughter Laina; as well as siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and too many friends to mention. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130. Caring Cremation® has taken place.
