Obituary Robert William Hemphill, 81, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Monday, April 25, 2022 in his home. He was born March 21, 1941 in Canonsburg, the son of the late Merle Simon and Leona Marie Russell Hemphill. Bob was a veteran having served in the US Army. He retired from Equitable Gas with over 30 years of employment. He was a member of the NRA and American Legion Post 945. Bob loved fishing, hunting, golfing, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR. He is survived by two daughters, Tami and husband Randy Tackett of Pickerington, Ohio, Terri Hemphill of Blacklick, Ohio; two granddaughters, Casey and Alex Tackett; sister, Eileen Corey of Canonsburg; two nieces, Lisa and Jill Frye; and nephew, Eric Frye.
