Robert “Bob” K. Petrich, age 70 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cleveland with visitation at 10:00am. Robert Kevin was born September 18, 1952 in Little Falls to William and Elvera (Venske) Petrich. He was raised there and graduated from Little Falls High in 1970. He then enlisted in the US Navy, serving in several places before ending in Hawaii where he was honorably discharged in 1990. Bob was united in marriage to Nancy Jo Robinson on June 16, 1973 in Randall MN. After his discharge, they moved to Cleveland MN where they made their home. Bob was employed at Gustavus Adolphus College in the physical plant and finance before retiring in 2016. Bob was a member of the Mankato DAV and enjoyed RV camping, working in the yard, photography, woodworking (including building his house and cradles for his grandchildren). Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa who will be missed by many. Left to remember Bob are his wife, Nancy; children: Shane (Denise) and Sandi (Joe) Hollerich; grandchildren: Lily, Connor, Lexi, Aidan, Laci and Tony; siblings: Marlene Ritzer and Gordy; sister-in-law Carol Petrich; Nancy’s siblings: Gerry (Colleen) Robinson, Pat Ring, Jim (Shelly) Robinson, Jay (Julie) Robinson, Krista (Brian) Peterschick, and Cynda (Jesse) Turner; brothers-in-law: Stuart McKee and Steve LeMieur; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his and Nancy’s parents; siblings: Ruth (Bob) Lawrence, Gary, and Don (Glenda); In-laws: Bob Ritzer and Jeanette Petrich; Nancy’s siblings: Verleen (Gene) Hallock, Carol (Jim) Honetschlager, Denny (Ida) Robinson, Pam McKee, Jim Ring, Kathleen LeMieur; niece Becky Turner and nephew Tony LeMieur.
