Robert Joseph Gregory III of Germania, New Jersey, was surrounded by love when he passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 54. He is survived by his father, Robert Gregory, his mother, Naomi Gregory (Elsberg), two sisters, Jacqueline and Stephanie, a nephew, nieces, and a whole bunch of great-nieces and great-nephews, some of whom have the privilege of calling him their Godfather. Bobby, as he was affectionately known to us, was born on July 31, 1968, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He graduated from Shawnee High School in Medford, New Jersey. From there he went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Stockton State. With his degree and the many certifications and accreditations Bobby earned throughout the years, he became a successful property manager and ran his own small business. Between his business and his real estate investments, Bobby was able to retire shortly before the pandemic began. Bobby never had any human children, but good luck convincing him that his beloved Greyhounds were not his kids!! Manny, Spuds, and Propane predeceased Bobby, while Bobby predeceased Charcoal. Because of the Covid lockdowns and Bobby’s early retirement, he was able to spend quality time with Charcoal while fine-tuning another passion of his–writing. At the time of his passing, Bobby was working on writing his first novel in the hopes of someday becoming a published writer. Not many people were lucky enough to be in Bobby’s inner circle, which he chose to keep very small. Those who were knew what a great guy he truly was. He will be greatly missed. To honor the private life Bobby chose to live, his funeral service will also be private. We invite you to make a donation to a reputable greyhound rescue in Bobby’s memory.
