Robert “Bob” John Bannon, 80, of Upper Darby, PA died on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, after a long stay at Lankenau Hospital. Born in Philadelphia to the late John and Lola Bannon, Bob proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was discharged with honors. Bob will be very missed. He was a good man who led a simple life. He enjoyed football and was anxiously awaiting the start of the season. Bob’s family made sure that he had his shoes, something very important to him, so he could walk into heaven. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Rufo Tagtmeir; son, John Tagtmeir and of course his beloved cat Rusty. His Funeral Service and interment will be private. Arrangements Kevin M.
