WINDHAM – Robert Charles Rolfe, 75, passed away on October 24, 2022 at his home. He was born in Portland on November 6, 1946 to Richard A. and Dorothy L. Rolfe. Bobby grew up in Willard Square in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High School in 1965. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army and spent 18 months serving in Japan from 1966-68. He attended Tri-State College in Angola, IN where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Palm Beach Jr. College where he studied Business. Bobby worked for KFC-LUMS Restaurant, Weeks Ice Cream, MMC, he started his own painting business in 1975 and then a construction company from 1985 until his passing. Bobby was an avid collector of coins, die-cast cars, Coca-Cola/Pepsi bottles and Pez. He enjoyed gymnastics and ice skating. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Dick and his wife, Sheila Rolfe, step-son, Charles C. Huntington, II. Survived by brother’s James D. Haley, Fred and wife, Rachel Rolfe. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy A. Rolfe; sons, Ricky and Bobby Rolfe; step-daughters, Annette and her husband, Matthieu Specq, Mary jean and her husband, Lawrence Gross; step-sons, Steven Huntington and his wife, Joanne, and Anthony Huntington and his wife, Sarahjo Huntington; and many beautiful grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bobby wanted you all to know his last words, “I drank like a fish, I worked like a dog, I slept like a log.” Veterans memorial service November 05, 2022 at 12:pm at 1 Mud pond road windham, Maine Following celebration of life.
