Robert (Bob) A. Higgins of Billerica, MA, November 17, 2022. Age 78. Beloved companion of the late Justine Zaniboni, died Thursday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center after a period of declining health. He was born in Medford, April 1, 1944 a son of the late Thomas J Higgins, Sr and Grace M Higgins (Campbell) and lived in Medford before moving to Billerica 17 years ago. Loving father of Angela M Culot and her husband Steven and Sara Wooten all of Billerica, MA and the late Debra Higgins. Grandfather of Christopher, Matthew and Alexander Culot. One brother, James F Higgins of Methuen and one sister, Grace M Burke and her husband Ed of Medford, MA and dear brother of the late John T Higgins, Thomas J Higgins, Jr and Walter W Higgins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob proudly served in the US Army from 1961 – 1967. Bob worked for the Medford Housing Authority for over 30+ years as part of the maintenance crew. Upon retirement, he worked as a Security guard at Siegel Egg in Billerica. He enjoyed playing Keno with his Friday night crew at the Deli Mart Convenient in Billerica. He enjoyed trips to the casino with family and friends. He had a love for dancing and was always the first one up for every line dance. He enjoyed horse racing and owned his own horse. You could always count on him to make a good joke. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St Theresa Church, 466 Boston Road, Billerica at 10 AM. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
