Bob Scarbrough was born September 10, 1936 and passed away at his home on November 26, 2022 at the age of 86. He served in the US Air Force as an Auto Track Radar Specialist and received the Good Conduct Medal. Following his military service, he worked as a communications specialist at Lockheed Martin. After his retirement, he returned to the family homestead in Hebron, MS. He loved to garden and share his harvest with family and friends. Bob married Gail, the love of his life, on April 16, 1964, and they celebrated 53 years of marriage. Although he was not a member of the local church, he loved listening to his Bible on CD and sharing his faith in Jesus with the family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Paige Scarbrough; his son, Allan Bradford Scarbrough; father, Arnie A. Scarbrough; mother, Ruth Griggs Scarbrough; brothers, Don Scarbrough, Raymond Lee Scarbrough and John Bradford Scarbrough; and sister, Linda Ruth Scarbrough Gambill. He is survived by his brother-in-law, David C. Paige of Hebron and a host of nieces and nephews. Pine Haven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. If you would like to send a memorial gift in honor of Bob, the family asked that you send to one of his favorite missions, Grace International World Outreach, P.O. Box 1952, Laurel, MS 39441.
