Rickey proceeded in death by Nancy M. Ridley (mother), Curtis O. Ridley (father), Curtis E. Ridley (brother), and Kenneth W. Ridley (brother). Rickey leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his brothers and sisters, Gregory K. Ridley (Brenita), Christopher Hourse (Annette), Janice M. Hambrick, Charlene Thompson (Aunt), Calvin Lake (Uncle), Nieces: Kayla M. Hambrick, Valencia, Tomeka Ridley, nephews: Christopher T. Hambrick (Erika), Johnathan Hambrick (Janie), Gregory Ridley Jr (Reshonda), Zachary, Coby, Shumar, and Lynette Thompson (Cousin). Rickey also leaves behind a plethora of great nieces and nephews, he also leaves behind his 4 step children: LaTonya Claybrooks, Harry Lee Claybrooks, Clifton Hayes, and Antwaun Claybrooks
