March 8 1952 December 26 2021
Richard William Sirr passed away on December 26, 2021 at the age of 69. Husband, Dad, “Ricky”, Papa, Grandpa, and friend. Wife, Sue Ann, and Rick shared in love and marriage for over 48 years. He was the son of Bill and Barbara Sirr. The greatest thing about Rick was his love. He was filled with the love of God and he poured out that love onto everyone who was around him. He was an ardent follower of Jesus Christ. He served for years as a church usher, deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher. Rick loved to share his passion for Jesus with everyone. He will be remembered by most as knowing “something” about everything and everything about most things. If you had a question, you knew to ask Rick, and he would have your answer. Rick loved to be outside (cold or hot), spend time in his backyard working on his pond, taking pictures with his grandkids, and making videos to send to family. Rick is survived by his wife Sue Ann, 3 children Jennifer, Michael and Kevin, 6 grandchildren, father, and 3 sisters. A Celebration of Life service will take place on December 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 37635 Dequindre Rd, Troy, MI (www.faithtroy.org).
