Richard’s Obituary Rosewood Heights—Richard O. Pruett, 69, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at his home. Born Feb. 28, 1953 in Wood River, he was the son of Virgil Otha and Clara Catherine (Hause) Pruett. He worked as a boilermaker for Local #363, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and tinkering with them to make them better. Surviving are his wife, Roseann (Moscardelli) Pruett; his daughter, Clara Rachel Gallagher of California; stepchildren Benjamin Edgar Blaylock of Hillsboro, MO and his twin sister Elizabeth Ann Blaylock of East Alton, Adeline Louise Campbell of Bethalto, Laura Jean Campbell of Edwardsville, and Collin Grey Campbell of Bethalto; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas (Pat) Pruett of Springfield, IL, Allen (Denise) Pruett of Pocahontas, IL, and Kevin (Gaye) Pruett of Rosewood Heights; and his sister, Bonnie Mundy of Godfrey.
