Raymond Samuel Martin, 51, of Stuart, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at his home. He was born February 1, 1971 in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Glenwood Wade Martin and Nancy Lee Martin. He enjoyed cooking, camping, football, NASCAR, going on family trips, the mountains and Tennessee. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandbaby, family and closest friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Lisa Faye Martin and Frances Lou Baker and niece Nikki Martin. He is survived by his wife, Pricilla Martin; daughters, Brittany Dawn Martin and her fiancé, Aaron Jones and Chloe Elizabeth Martin; son, Bryce Talmadge Martin; grandchild, Jada Marie Martin; sister, Debra Martin; mother-in-law “mom”, Becky Blevins (Junior); father-in-law, Steve Clodfelter (Becky); nephews, Jeff Martin and Chris Martin “Rech”, numerous cousins and nieces; and best friends, James Foley, Brian Hodges, Jim Wyatt and Little Jim Wyatt. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
