View Tribute Book Randy Coy “Skeeter” Sides, age 47, of Cedar Bluff, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Randy was born May 20, 1975, in Rome, GA, a son of the late James Clark Sides and Jean Robertson Sides. He had lived most of his life in Polk County, GA, moving to Alabama about 7 years ago. Randy worked in carpentry and cabinet work. He loved mechanical work, being outdoors and going fishing. Randy was easy-going and had a funny wit about him. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Sides. Randy is survived by two sisters, Jeanna (Terry) Smith of Piedmont, AL, and Becky (Wayne) Robinson of Rome; brother, Danny (Julie) Sides of Cedartown, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service to celebrate Randy’s life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with eulogies provided by family and friends. Randy’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 12:00 noon until the service hour. Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the services for Randy Coy “Skeeter” Sides.
