Beloved husband of over 34 years of Donna (nee Wilson) Wachowski. Loving father of Phillip Jr., Alexandra, Stephanie, and Jonathan (Emily Grabowski) Wachowski. Born to the late Leonard and Irene Wachowski. Phil is loved by his sisters MaryAnn Wylie, Margaret Wachowski, AnnMarie (Mike) Weaver, and twin brother Peter Wachowski, in-laws Kathy (the late James) Wilson, sister’s in-law Cheryl (John) Truffa and Tammy (Jim) Wilkens, and brother in-law James (Narubi) Wilson. Loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers. Phil was an athlete and graduate of Bloom High School, Chicago Heights, IL and graduated Central College, Pella, IA with a degree in political science. He loved football, bowling, cooking and most of all he loved his family dearly. Tenacious and goal oriented, Phil dedicated time to pushing himself in the gym to surpass his weightlifting goals. Though many of his hours there were spent lifting, even more were spent talking. Friendly and curious, Phil never met a stranger. Whether his aim was to win at bowling or to take first prize at his beloved family’s chili cook-off, Phil enjoyed competition and a little bit of loving trash talk. He was fiercely committed to and lived to provide for his wife Donna, whom he adored, and his four loving children.
