Obituary of Paul D. Amsden Paul D. Amsden Pittsford – It is with great sadness that Paul passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 93. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Amsden. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Debby (Stan) Peck of Fairport, Paula (Jim) Plant of Webster, and Pam Amsden of Brighton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Morin, Heather (Marty) Watkins, Jessica Plant (Raul Solis), Laura (Matt) Clingersmith, Paul (Jena) Plant; great grandchildren, Anna and Nora Morin, Addison, Neva, and Will Watkins, Mera and Emma Clingersmith, Maryana Burgos-Plant, Briella Plant, Raul Jr. and Zai Solis, and Emery Plant. Paul served honorably in the army of the United States from October 1946 to March of 1948. He was stationed in Italy serving with the 350th Infantry Regiment, receiving a World War II Victory Medal. He was an avid golfer and a member of Green Hills Golf Club for many years. Every Wednesday, he looked forward to his morning golf outing with the Pittsford Senior Golf League. Paul was a master carpenter. Highlights of his career include working for the W. C. Baird Corporation, creating his own business, “Amsden & Mosely,” and many years of employment at the James L. Garrett Company from which he eventually retired. During his retirement, Paul’s family kept him very busy…he always had a project. Calling hours to be on Monday, November 28 from 4-7 pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., E. Rochester. Private interment at White Haven Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 29.
