Obituary Paul Van Karpiscak, 64, of Germantown, MD passed away on July 16, 2022. Paul was born on April 13, 1958, in Winter Park, FL. He was a long-time resident of Montgomery County, and has lived in the area since 1970. Paul was a loving son, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. He graduated from Lynchburg College in 1980 and pursued his lifelong career of accounting. An avid golfer, he would spend his vacations in Myrtle Beach, SC and he loved spending time with his family. Paul had a big heart, and was generous and giving to his family and friends. He was gone too soon from this world, and he will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Karpiscak. He is survived by his mother, Ann Karpiscak; his sister, Lori McKay (Scott); a niece and nephew, Kaitlyn and Ryan McKay; and several relatives. Arrangements will be made by The Roy W. Barber Funeral Home in Laytonsville, MD. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 22 at 9:30am at The Roy W. Barber Funeral Home. A burial and graveside service will be held at the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marriottsville, MD the same day at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Chordoma Foundation.
