He departed this life at his residence in Bunker, Missouri, on December 21, 2022, at the age of 69. Paul was a member of the Bunker Lions Club. He enjoyed playing poker, watching football, reminiscing and telling stories. He loved to travel and enjoyed the natural beauty on his travels. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Cathy Cauley, third wife, Barbara Counts, and two brothers, Richard and Jack Counts. Paul is survived by one son, Dustin Counts and wife Kayla Paine of Salem, Missouri, one brother, Jim Counts of St. Joseph, Missouri, and 3 grandchildren, Audrey, Bryson and Lincoln.
