McClead, 68, of Franklin, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Mr. McClead was born October 10, 1953, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Everett and Mabel West McClead. He was employed by the Cobb County Board of Education for the past thirty years in maintenance and warehouse department. He enjoyed watching movies and listening to all types of music, and loved his dog, Chopper, and being outdoors. Most importantly, he was a great father and enjoyed being with his family. Survivors include his wife, Roberta McClead of Franklin; his children, Liberty Ann McClead, Jaye Dallas McClead and her fiancée Will Gentry, Jefferson West McClead all of Carrollton, Mason Shane Everett McClead of Franklin; his brothers, Leland McClead, Michael McClead, Mark McClead all of Acworth; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday. Condolences may be expressed at www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com Claude A.
