View Tribute Book Patricia J. “Pat” Armstrong, 71, of Taberg, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 after a long illness. She was born in Malone, NY, on January 8, 1951, a daughter of Ralph and Geraldine (Hosford) Fulmer and grew up in Boonville, NY, graduating from Adirondack High School in 1969. On May 8, 1971, she was married to Jim Armstrong in the Boonville United Methodist Church and the couple eventually moved to Taberg and raised three children. Pat was employed for 25 years as a Teacher’s Aide with Camden Central School District, a reponsibility she loved and took very seriously until her retirement. There were often times children would come up to Pat every morning for their morning hug, something that touched her deeply. Pat was a baker and loved nothing more than to sit around the kitchen table at Christmas time, decorating cookies with the grandkids, or as she would call them, her babies, or treating them to one of her special birthday cakes. Countless quilts went out the door over the years, made with love and freely given to keep one warm on a cold winters night. She was a truly devoted wife, mother and grandma and will be deeply missed. Pat is survived by her husband, Jim; two sons, Scott (Kari) and Danny (Wendy); her mother, Geraldine; three sisters, Carol (Dominick), Phyllis (Pete) and Christine (Fred); nine grandchildren, Noah, Ian, Zoe, Olivia, Colton, Lilah, Logan, Curtis and Sophia; her special daughter, Holly Dukett and her children Kaleb and Lydia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Ralph; daughter, Jennifer; sister, Cindy; and two brothers, Paul and Tom. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden, NY 13316.
