Pat Ross, 83, passed away on August 28, 2022, at Munson Hospice House. Pat was born in Traverse City, Michigan to Helen and Perry Kroupa on July 1, 1939. Pat grew up on the Old Mission Peninsula and attended Traverse City Central High School. Pat later attended Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. She was married to the late Dean Hall in 1964. They had one daughter, Melinda. Pat married John Ross in 1983. Pat worked for the J.L. Hudson Company in Detroit and held various jobs around Traverse City. She loved to cook and travel and belonged to the Sweet Adeline singing group. She attended St. Francis church regularly. Pat was a member of the Senior Center where she enjoyed playing Bingo and wii-bowling. Some of her hobbies were playing dice, card games and doing crossword puzzles. She is preceded in death by her daughter Melinda (1986), husband John Ross (2009), sister Carol Ann Zientek (2011) and her parents. Surviving Pat are her sisters Gloria DeGroot and Marcia Harsch, her grandson Joseph King, and her step daughters Delores Martin and Debbie Egan, in addition to her beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Reynolds-Jonkhoff in Traverse City on Wednesday, August 31,2022 at 11 am with gravesite services immediately following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
