Rocco of Glen Cove on December 15, 2022, age 96. Beloved husband of Mariangela (nee Bruno) and loving son of the late Domenico and Antonetta. Dear brother of Marie Elaine Fink and the late Philip. Devoted father of Dominick (Tricia), Patricia Ann (James) Golding, Perry John (Laurie), Bruno Thomas (Patricia), Pat Jr., (Janine). Survived by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Uncle, cousin and friend to many. Pasquale served in the army as a sergeant from 1944 to 1946. He fought in five European battles and was awarded two Purple Hearts. He built a successful landscaping company, “D. Rocco and Sons, Inc.”, with his father and brother. He was the building grounds supervisor for two Nassau County facilities. He enjoyed sports…especially football, golf, playing the trombone in the army and playing the piano at family gatherings. Not only did he fight in World War II, he also fought in the wars of work, building a business, buying and supporting a home and raising a loving, solid family. While always hectic, family vacations remained at the top of his favorite things to do. He also loved traveling solo, with his wife. He will be missed by all.
