Obituary Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Pamela Jean Bethel, was called home to our Heavenly Father and dear Savior on July 31, 2022 following a courageous and valiant battle with cancer. She peacefully passed away surrounded by her family. Pam was born September 30, 1963 in Ogden, UT to Ernie and Jean Hachmeister. She married the love of her life, Corey Dale Bethel, on November 5, 1992 in Ogden, UT. Pam had a tremendous love for her family and was very protective of her children and grandchildren. She truly lived for them—she treasured the time she spent with them. They were the joy of her life. Pam loved going to the family cabin in Star Valley, WY. She also enjoyed traveling, crocheting, shopping, attending Sunday dinners with the family, and camping with her children and grandchildren. She also loved Christmas and always made that holiday very special. Pam was also an avid Elvis fan and was passionate about her Ford Mustang. Pam had a special place in her heart for babies and for the elderly. She loved and cared for her grandparents, Una and Frank Evans, as well as many others in their final years, including Owen and Edith Wangsgard. She was always thinking of others and found joy in serving. She was adored by all those around her. Pam is survived by her husband, Corey; her daughter, Tana (Sean) Christensen; son, Kyle Hachmeister; 7 grandchildren: Kaleb, Konner, Addy, Kole, Kade, Avery, and Morrison; her parents; and siblings: Wade Hachmeister, Penny Beckstead, and Julie (James) Purin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Thompson; her grandparents: Ernest and Dora Hachmeister, Julian and Lucille Palmer; uncles: Carl Hachmeister, George Palmer, and Richard Okelberry; and her aunt, Dolores Sully. A very special thanks to our sweet grandma, Connie Bethel, who lovingly helped care for her. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT.
