Obituary Pamela Denice Morgan Brockway, 56 of Waycross died Wednesday (June 8, 2022) at Memorial Satilla Health after a brief illness. Mrs. Brockway was born in Homerville, Georgia to the late Claude and Trellis Rowland Morgan and made Waycross her home for most of her life. She was a hard-working lady that worked as an LPN for many years with the Ware Visiting Nurses, but her true calling and passion was working for Hospice Satilla. In her free time she loved drinking coffee on the porch and listening to the birds, she also enjoyed spending time at the beach. She had a talent when it came to crocheting and was exceptional when it came to baking. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Deryl Morgan; a brother-in-law, Charles Douglas and a sister-in-law, Risa Morgan. Mrs. Brockway is survived by her husband, David Brockway of Waycross; a daughter, Ashley Barber husband Jonathan of East Dublin, Georgia; a grandson, Garrett Barber; four siblings, Anita Douglas of Waycross, Carlton Morgan wife Angela of Waycross, Jeffery Morgan of Waycross, Jamie Boyd wife Shanell of Waycross; two brothers-in-law, Robert Brockway, Allen Brockway; a sister-in-law, Teresa Brockway; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A visitation will be held Friday evening (June 10, 2022) from 6-8pm at Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
